About Saint Charles School
Who We Are
St. Charles School is a K-8 Catholic school dedicated to providing its students with quality education that enhances all aspects of their development within a safe and caring, family-oriented environment.
We offer our students affordable tuition and generous tuition assistance, technological amenities (such as Internet access; a digital, interactive library; a computer lab; and computer classes that include digital media), tutoring and mentoring programs with the University of San Francisco and UC Berkeley, sports programs, piano lessons and other extracurricular activities and opportunities.
Other resources at our school include volunteers from our school community and the national Notre Dame AmeriCorps program.
Admissions
Saint Charles School admits students of any race, national and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs and activities at the school. We do not discriminate on the basis of ethnic origin or race in the administration of our education policies, scholarships and athletic programs.
Applications may be obtained from the school office or on the school web site in our Resources section. Acceptance will be based on space availability, as well as students' past academic and conduct performance and admission test results.
The school principal will also interview the parents and/or guardians prior to acceptance.
Where we are Located
Saint Charles School is located on 18th Street in San Francisco's Mission District. We are within easy access to BART and several bus lines on Mission Street.
